On April 13, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Dang Xuan Dung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with Abdulla Al Zamil, Chairman of Zamil Industrial, Mohammed Al-Sahib, CEO of Zamil Industrial, and Nawaf Al Zamil, President of Zamil Steel Company, at the headquarters of Zamil Industrial in Dammam.
During the meeting, the ambassador praised the investment of Zamil Industrial, the first Saudi Arabian investor in Vietnam, and acknowledged the success of Zamil Steel Vietnam over the past 25 years as a successful example of mutual economic partnership between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He affirmed that the Vietnamese government and relevant bodies always support the creation of favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to do business in Vietnam.
The two sides discussed various developments and issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to further promote Saudi investment in Vietnam in various fields.
