Abdulla Mohammed Al Zamil
Chairman of the Board (Non-Executive)
On 8 May 2022, Abdulla Mohammed Al Zamil was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (Zamil Industrial). Since October 2009, he has served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to his appointment as CEO, he acted as Chief Operating Officer of Zamil Industrial since January 2004. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Zamil Air Conditioners and Zamil Industrial’s Shared Services.
He began his professional career in 1987 with Zamil Air Conditioners as an Industrial Engineer and subsequently Vice President, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing & Materials Management.
Abdulla Al Zamil serves on the boards of directors of several local and regional businesses and authorities.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, and an MBA with concentration in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
