Zamil Air Conditioners has recently been awarded a contract by Kartec Company for the supply, start-up, testing, and commissioning of vast HVAC systems for the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Under the terms of the contract, Zamil Air Conditioners will supply 35 high-efficiency packaged units and 14 industrial split systems for the EWA’s 66-kilovolt substations. This work will form a part of the 66kV network expansion program that is taking place in regions and cities across Bahrain.

The supplied HVAC systems will provide a total cooling capacity of more than 510 tons. They contain special industrial features, ranging from body paint able to withstand the corrosive environment, to a control protocol for integration with the EWA’s new supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.
